How this estimate works
This is a planning model, not a measured result. CommonLight has not yet published outcome data. Hours on resource tasks = staff × 12 admin hours/week × 40% share spent on resource lookup × 50 weeks (AAFP 2023; Commonwealth Fund 2025). Time lost to failed referrals = 200 hours/year per staff member, scaled by directory size relative to 250 listings (capped at 2×). This figure is a CommonLight assumption. Both are multiplied by 30%, the share of that time we assume better listings recover; this is a CommonLight assumption, not a measured result. Hours × your hourly rate = illustrative value.
